I found these words uplifting, motivating and creative. I pondered
on living in the moment and enjoying the beauty of nature right now!
The poem flows and connects well.

Interesting form, nice offering, nicely linked by "love" and the pilgrim of passion picture. I have never heard of t Renga form, am I to assume that "nature" serves as the kigo? Well done. Steve

I really wouldn't know all the 'details' on the nuances of this poetry, Steve (sorry!!), but Gypsy would be glad to answer, I'm sure! ;) Thanx so much for stopping by on this shorty, sir -- great to hear from you! ;) Things actually get back to a regular routine for me this week (until the house sells... lol!). Take care of you and I'll be checkin' in more often! ;) Yvette

WOW, what a picture it perfectly matched the poem: "with heart open wide in love
this world's rhythm we embrace" Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

Nice follow-up--thanks for including the prior for reference. Open wide / embrace makes me visualize a huge heart, each half a wing to enfold. Cheers. LIZ

This little poem is beautiful. It is amazing what can be conveyed in two lines. Your picture is gorgeous, with unbelievable colors, making a lovely presentation.

When we are so totally in the throes of love, our whole world looks beautiful and we embrace everything the world has to offer. The picture is also an enhancement of the poem. Great job!

Thoughtful piece and that's a good thing even if we come to different conclusions. My conclusion is I don't know if I would want to embrace this world's rhythm as it rejects love. Just look at all the hateful things being done and promoted. If the world would embrace it back then that's another story. But that will never happen as long as this is true: the world is all lying in the Evil One (1John 5:19 Byington)

You are right, but to turn a back and not 'get in there' and offer love, doesn't sound like the correct response either... Thanx so much, mauial, for stopping by on this shorty -- great to hear from you! ;) Enjoy the rest of the weekend out there! ;) Yvette

Beautiful poem and beautiful art work. I really enjoy this new entry for the Renga book. It may inspire me to add a new chapter.
In the current situation, I love the optimistic tone of the poem.
Well done.

This was well done, Yvette. I am so glad the Gypsy Blue Rose started this, it has expanded immensely. I like the concept of the Renga, not that I want to try it right now, but the idea is great. In so few words you have managed to say so much. The picture was a wonderful touch as well. Very much enjoyed.
