Excellent poem about smiling during times of extreme hardship. I agree that we need to dig deep and draw hope from God to be able to keep a good attitude and share it with others. Thanks for expressing your creativity in this way. Bill

Thank you, Vanna. I glad you liked it. :) I am nobody but a man who believes in our Father and his Son. There are many who believe. :) and there are many who don't :( Yet, I have Faith and Hope with me and no matter the outcome I know I am loved. :) Take care of yourself and your loved ones.

It was something like that. It is so nice when in the grocery store you give a smile, and most of the time, you get one back. Those are wonderful gifts to give and recieve.

Beautiful and exactly how I feel. And yes what do you have to lose? In July I entered the "Only One Word" contest and my word was smile. My last line was It's something you can give and it's free. It was something like that. It is so nice when in the grocery store you give a smile, and most of the time, you get one back. Those are wonderful gifts to give and recieve.

Yvette, you as a writer and poet have shared smiles with so many people. Keep up the good work and thank you. I know smiles are hard, but what is is and there is nothing we can do, but try to make people smile. :)
