This haiku, Spirit of the Lotus, presented in a 5-7-5 format, joins the renga and combines humanity, the rest of nature, and faith.

How very pretty Miss June.
Your picture and words are a
perfect match, and so very true.
We certainly do flourish with faith.
A lovely Renga.
Blessings...

Aaaah.... from dragons to the blossoming hope of the human spirit: she must fight at times to hold onto that hope... Love the gentle 'follow-on' here to the previous, June - gives us a range of depth that only faith can provide! Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem in addition to the multi-author Renga book. The lotus flower reminds of the human spirit that is born from tiny seedlings of hope and flourish with faith.

I like this. It has a feel good vibe and goes perfectly with the art work. I am not sure but feel that flourishing might flow better that flourishes-it just seems to be a better tense.

June,
What an awesome poem, The words feel as they were all carefully chosen; the first line draws the reader in immediately.
The photo is abstract and very relevant to your beautiful poem.
Good luck in the contest,
Cindy

This is a cute little piece, I like that you ended it with an alliteration to wrap it up neatly. Great work on this Renga, thank you for sharing and for the added notes :) Later daze.
