I think you have met the requirements of this contest: Write a poem for spring. You can not use the words: flower, buds, blossoms, rain, new.

Your third sonnet does a nice job of describing the joys of Spring. I like how you personify Nature as an artist painting the landscape with bright new colors. Your meter is pretty consistent and you chose good rhymes. Rod

I really found this work very interesting. The description of spring with rising rainbows of colours was very artistic and captivating. It was easy for me to visualize the beauty of spring on nature's scenery. Thanks for Sharing your thoughts a d good luck in the contest.

Very well done. I like the alternating rhyme scheme and the closing rhyming couplets. You did a good job showing the transition into spring.
