I could almost smell the aromatic evergreens and see the billowing fog when reading the verses about your trek through the wooded forest with your dog.

I'm sure I can hear that self same quiet as I read this poem!! so well is the atmospher evoked - portraying a walk in the forest in the early morning with all its 'soundless quiet'- beautiful

What a beautiful photo you have chosen to accompany your equally beautifully expressed poem. I could easily imagine the scene, the play of light, and the scents on your walk (I bet the dog was in heaven sniffing). You've captured "the ancient soul
