Your use of alliteration will draw the readers in. The p's create a puffing sound. Is that for the puffy clouds? Or is it the puff of breath as people pray from the top of a mountain? Clever.

Your choice of art to support your 7/7 couplet poem is excellent. Your choice o words beginning the P are powerful words. The 7 stanza sentence to support the words works well. My only comment would be with the word prayer fitting in with the 7/7 couplet requirement. "Per-fect"! Count 2
"Prayer"! Count 1 (spoken is normally one syllable) sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssperddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Thank you so much for the lovely review and generous rating, too! I agree with you that "prayer" should be just one syllable. But I often check this website and it said two:https://www.howmanysyllables.com/words/prayer

Perfect prayer as words makes it into a special prayer for God's listening heart. The image of the cloud and the mountains completes so well your poem. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

Really lovely. Must segue with Roy's. Will check in a minute. Love the mountain/prayer theme. Very Scriptural. Mountains always draw the eye upwards.
Well done!

Prayer is a strong counter punch against any kind of wrongdoing witnessed or experienced. God listens to His children and lovingly supports the hope we have in Him. His promises are always true and underline the trust we have in His eternal goodness. xo

Amen! Your lovely review could be a poem, too. Thank you, Janet! Hugs!

It would be a help to reviewers I think if contributors of two line couplets like this could place the previous three lines in their notes. I'm afraid I didn't have time to delve into the original to marry it up and others may have got in first anyway.

Ah, now that's an excellent suggestion - I'll run that by Gypsy. At first, she included all the previous poems and that got rather long. Thanks so much for reviewing!

Thank you for reviewing my teeny two line poem, Lou! I was inspired by Gypsy's poem. Roy was inspired to follow with his poem. So maybe you'll join us, too? Hugs!

I enjoyed your post in the Renga, Helen. Your artwork set it up for me, though, and I loved reading about the Lord and prayer after seeing it. Well done on this and the new addition to the Renga.
