Your haiku is excellent, describing an awesome experience from the mortal's viewpoint and ending with an effective metaphor. I like the title (song by the Who, late sixties).

When my husband and I returned to So California after our honeymoon many years ago, we cane over the mountains and we stopped at the top of one mountain and we could see across the ocean for over 50 miles, it was breathtaking.

Nice line of reflection on the first two lines. God's personal space would include raising your eyes on the mountain top and looking into the heavens too. The images from the hubble telescope and other spacecraft gives us a mind blowing look i to that oersonal space.

What flew into my mind was the musical hit by The Who in 2012...
"I can see for miles and miles and miles and miles......"

I think their vision was referring to the assistance of some assistive mind altering drugs, which would be a whole other poem, wouldn't it?

I like your concept of all being God's personal space much better!

Thank you very much. I did think about that line from Tommy by the Who. I saw them in concert. They are very loud. LoL....but this poem is about God and nature and not drugs.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

A very well-written 5-7-5 addition to the Renga multi-author book. Sometimes we need to go to a higher level to see another perspective big what we are used to answer will be surprised how much we can learn.

I have been on those mountain tops, in fact I have been above the mountains and looked down on them and it is a great feeling to see such sights, a joyful haiku, well executed, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Lovely 5-7-5. I see it's part of a book - now I'm going to have to check out the rest of it. That said - I did enjoy the read. Thank you for sharing. Hope you are feeling better and staying safe, my friend.

This is a lovely poem. It is clear, concise, and makes a great .point. We sometimes forget that the whole world is God's personal space, despite what we have done to it. Very well written, a lot said in a few words.

Of course, He can. Youe renga expresses a great truth, Gypsy. God sees all--all of the time. I like your presentation--the color scheme, the image, the formatting of lines, and your strong message.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

This is a poem that makes the reader feel good. I like the image of miles and miles of land and then calling it God's personal space. There is a spiritual feel and flow to your words.
