It has always been a dream of mine to see the fall colors in New England, but never have I been able to avail myself of such a beautiful sight.

So glad you enjoyed this piece!

Thank you for sharing Fall in New England and using Dolly's new form. I enjoyed your rhythm, rhymes, and repeats. (I think "draw" picked up an "s" in the second stanza.) Your color presentation is perfect. Cheers- Joan

These words are uplifting, interesting, clear and creative. As I read
this poem I thought about how much I miss the fall in New York! I now
live in Florida - there is very little fall! The words of this poem are
engaging, fun and colorful! The artwork is perfect.....

A very well-written Rondaful about fall in new England that is s wonderful sight to see as you described it. The best time to harvest ripe pumpkins and the yearly family fair.

You did a great job with Dolly's complex style, June. I love the image you paired with your well-chosen words. You adhered to the format well. Your words create great imaery--I could see everything you mentioned. I love fall. This was very descriptive and pleasing to read.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

This is a nice form of poetry and you have written in beautifully. I love New England in the fall. Fall is pretty everywhere but I remember the one time I was in Vermont and New Hampshire in the fall and it was spectacular.

-Very nice artwork and
presentation, Janice.
-You did a good job with
this form.
-I have tried it out, but
I'm not going to post it for awhile.
-I like your couplet lines and all
of the fall imagery in the poem,
along with the rhyme.
-Very well done!
-Dolly has a way with these forms:)

Comment from Gloria ....
That is a gorgeous piece of art. It looks surreal and my goodness time is moving into fall much too fast.
This is an excellent rondaful that just needs a few rhyme tweaks
"where catapulting pumpkins wins a prize needs to rhyme with the second line ending in away, and bring happy smiles needs an end rhyme of skies, so likely a shift of those two words.
An easy repair I'm sure, and many thanks for sharing your beautiful poem today, June.

Mid-fall is my favorite time of the year, concerning weather, which is mild;
and I never get tired of looking at the changing leaves! Your poem is skillfully-written, descriptive, and lovely.
