The presentation, all in all, deserves an exceptional rating in my mind. The artwork brings to life the strife we all share in the swirl of turbulence in our political landscape. Don't politics and fear always grip countries?
Seems most politicians can only achieve their agendas by instilling fear in the voting public.

What a nice poem, Yvette. Your picture choice was perfect. Somewhere in that mass of red/white/blue is a country. We are not together and that is what the picture showed me. There is nothing I would suggest to add to your poem's message.

Oh, Linda -- it's so good to see your name, my lady!! ;) :) I've been off more than on due to the whole process of trying to 'downsize' ... I've got the house ready, but the husband is still not done with the garage - ugh! ;) So, popping in for a short contest here and there is all I've mostly managed -- keeps my feet wet and in the game, but I just haven't had time for much else (just getting back there these days and then a curve ball with school came up -- when it rains it pours, yeah?)
I do hope things get better, but I'm not holding out much hope -- really just looking at keeping a 'happy' attitude and being the defiant little imp that I've always been - LOL!! ;) Thank you for the wonderful stars and may you have an awesome remainder of the week -- be my guest to join the 'smiling imps' brigade!! ;) Yvette

HI You, I am off more than on myself...with all the things, and people I try to be with...it takes a lot of my time....I spent March, April, and May at my brothers in Florida...to help with mom...I just got back...and will be back on the road again soon...I hope to settle down one day...but it not in God's plans yet...LOL...
and like you...I keep looking around my house...and saying I am going to get rid of some of this stuff...and something will come up...I am glad you and your hubby are getting it together...must feel wonderful...
but it is time for me to post again...
