Some people don't know where the containers are, that's for sure. Pick up, pick up, is what we teach our children when they are young. I guess a sign would work if they would read it.....

I have not seen this happen in my town, and I don't see many drop litter, but it is a big problem in some cities as people are careless with their waste, a poignant write, love Dolly x

I agree, Iza. Some people are so inconsiderate of everything. I enjoyed your fun poem with a serious message. Your lines flow smoothly, the rhymes are good, and your message is loud and clear.
Thanks for sharing and best wishes.

Your poem addresses a pet peeve of mine also - I object to people littering with rubbish instead of putting it away for rubbish collection. I especially hate it when they drop rubbish in parks and recreation areas.
(We have a problem here with people trying to flush PPE things down toilets and blocking the drains.)

Your words are so true and I am tired of all the masks lying on the ground. I do not understand why people cannot put them in the trash. Your words are relevant to today.

A very well-written silly but serious rhyming poem about masks and gloves that are not disposed of correctly holding a bigger threat an the virus itself. I am not an expert but I truly think masks are not very good for our overall health any way.

Yes, you are right.

It's funny when you think about it. If the masks are serving to filter the virus out aren't they hazardous waste? Your poem rhymed, made sense, and was hilarious. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you.

Just one more unfortunate by-product of this ongoing pandemic. We finally clean-up (mostly) the butts and discarded cigarette packs, and the slovenly hordes litter us with masks and gloves. How little people think of each other.
Best of luck, Iza.
Peace, Lee
