Can't believe you don't have a sixer on this yet. There is no greater reward for a parent than when they realize all their efforts in parenting were worth it. If your kids grow into successful adults and you end up actually liking them, not just loving them and are proud of their life decisions then you as a parent, teacher and guide have done well. I identified with this beautiful contest poem immediately and your art work was so intricate in bringing it home. Literally. Well done. Lynda

Well said. There's that saying, "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink." That's the same with children we can only lead to the right path, but it's their choice to stay on it. The pictur with the two paths was a great choice too.

How trie is this. We can only do so much as parents. They, in the end, have to decide their path and we must hope we have guided them enough to make the right choices.

You have captured a parent's view really well here. This would be easy to relate for many. No matter how much one teaches his or her child--it all comes to down to the choices that they make for themselves. It becomes their journey. This should do well in the prompt. Good luck!
