Liz, although the stories are disturbing, you've done a good job of conveying them through the voices of those who experienced it all. They need to be shared. On to the next chapter.

This chapter had me on edge. The names... I can't stop loving them. There was one name I found in a book or diary I had read a while ago: Sweet-grass. The setting of this story is wonderful and emotional as I feel for every girl. I couldn't imagine what that actually is like. I don't want to know. I did notice a minor space in the sentence " Mr. Pack Man."

Looking forward to reading the next chapter!

Fascinating, the story of each one of the girls when they were in the cave. Poor girls! What horrors have they been going through! Now it also becomes clear how useful it was to have Spring Blossom so alert all the time. What would they have done without their back packs?

I know what you mean. The characters we create in our books become like intimate friends. Welcome to the review!

Thank you for your enthusiastic supportive review. I am glad I am getting to post these chapters. When I finished. I was so missing the girls. They are each so dear. This is an epidemic problem with Native women and teens. Authorities do basically nothing about it. This has been going on for many years. The girls willl tell more about the statistics later.

Thank you for your enthusiastic appreciative review. I spent an entire day reviewing you tubes of traveling through caves in the locale of this setting. It is a bit scary.

I like how your writing is terse and concise, moving the story along without any wasted effort. Having each character telling her role in their escape made the story more realistic and believable. And having Rabbit's incomplete tale make me want to turn to the next chapter to see what happened to this character--will she be found?

Wow -- such horrors in the whole kidnapping and human trafficking... Eyes of Owl's story gives the reader chills.... Oh, I hope they get to 'civilization' soon! ;) Thanx for sharing, Liz! ;) Yvette
