This current heat wave is most uncomfortable! We're used to cooler weather here in the Northeast. It's grip is annoying and I'd like a break soon. You've captured its stubbornness perfectly.

Wow - Kamran!! This is such a wonderful surprise this morning!! Thank you so very much for both the stars and your awesome review, sir -- you've started my day and the rest of the week off on a great note!! :) ;) These contests are voted on by the members [you can vote at any time on any of them... even set it up so that you get a message when a new contest field is posted. ;)] so many times it seems to come down to the topic addressed rather than the writing... but the mechanics are definitely the same for all of them since 'a committee' does decide if the contest requirements are met. :) ;) But you are SO AWESOME for your compliment here... I am humbled with your words and sentiments... :)
Been kinda 'out more than in' with getting the house ready for market, but it looks like I'm down to just tiny details and waiting on the husband to finish the garage, so I should be able to find a little time now even with 'school' starting back soon. [whole 'nother ball of wax there - weirdness and changes all 'round!]

The silhouettes shimmering, and a forecast of a hot, sometimes unbearable summer's day. Very good work. Good luck in all your writing endeavors.
