Hi Gypsy, what a beautiful picture and beautiful poem. I ordered your book. It was very good, kind of makes me want to try some of that kind of art. I will be seeing you again soon.

It is a wonder, in this supposedly enlightened day and age, that the scourge of human trafficking and sexual slavery exists, affecting the most vulnerable not only physically, but also emotionally and psychologically as well. Thank you for writing and sharing your poem.

This 5-7-5, Sweet Innocent Child, has the right set up and sends out the call to help stop human trafficking in all its forms.

You made the reader aware of the problem and your wording tugged at the heart strings. Any poem that could move me is a winner to me. The picture is sad, but the poem is sad, and this is not a happy thing. Together they created great tone.

Good title- necessary on such a small poem. This would be a good poster. It should be displayed everywhere. The person harmed was once this child-- as was the one harming. The question for each is, what happened to you?

What happened to me? or is it a rhetorical question? It didn't happened to me but I was an advocate for victims of sexual assault for two years and I understand how devastating this is for the victim and their families. There is no greater crime than abusing a child.
Thank you very much for your generous review and empathy. Have a great weekend, my friend. Thank you for the six stars!!!

Important message to get out in your 5-7-5. This is why we need to vote for leaders who will take a stand and do all that they can to stop human trafficking. Best wishes in the contest!

Thank you for the valuable feedback and kind review. I will take a look at the font color. I understand what you mean. I changed the color :)

Oh, I think your font colore is fine. I didn't mention anything about font color in this review. I did about another post's picture - that wasn't yours - I don't think...

This is an outstanding poem. I particularly appreciated the fact that no idea ran over the end of a line. The opposite case would be confusing for me.
The sombre monochrome, with only the eyes having a hint of colour is particularly dramatic and effective.

This is a very good entry for the 5-7-5 writing prompt. It is simple, easy to read, and powerful at the same time. Best of luck in the contest!

There is a straight and to the point nature to this piece. It is a wonderful thing to bring awareness to the horrible acts that people can commit.

I went on mission to Cambodia, and children are sold into slavery, by their parents, because of abject poverty, The only problem is, even if you can buy them back, they will be sold again, what they do, is train up people to be employed, thus getting to the grassroots of the problem, Good luck well done, Blessings Roy
