Well done. This is a wonderful story and the picture is a perfect match.
It was fun discovering that the note in the bottle was left all those years ago - (2020) and reading of all of the other disasters that occurred between now and the date in the future when the narrator strolls on the beach.
Rod Serling would be proud to feature this tale on the Twilight Zone. I really enjoyed this and I'm sorry I don't have six stars for you. However, I am giving you my vote. Good luck in the contest.

The initial description of the post-apocalypses world was rather stark. With a good measure you waited until the very end to reveal the content - however it just kept getting better from then on - the well thought out date, the spelling err's - including the hilarious knock off bottle.

It appears to have turned to shit already. Trump can't fix it; he caused most of it. In 20 years time it will be like the story.
If he did bugger off to New Zealand he wouldn't be welcome here.
