Practice being nice... I like it. I explained to one of my friend's sons that it would make a world of difference if he would simply soften both his voice and his posture - not whisper, just not 'better than you'... She said he was still saying nice things about me so maybe it got through....lol! ;) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

Practice being nice... I like it. I explained to one of my friend's sons that it would make a world of difference if he would simply soften both his voice and his posture - not whisper, just not 'better than you'... She said he was still saying nice things about me so maybe it got through....lol! ;) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

I'm with you, Sally. Folks, at least some of them anyway have lost any sense of what truly matters in life... losing sight that there's a better life after this one is over. Unfortunately people on both sides of each issue are taking extreme positions. I've always been comfortable taking a middle of the road position, while always keeping an open mind. I could have a lot more commentary on the political issues, but want to keep these comments light. Hugs, Lou

I'm not familiar with Goya products, CEO Bob Unanue, or Ocasio-Cortez. There's a lot of attacking today in politics. Actually, it seems that's the basis of a party's platform... Attack the opposition! So they don't win an election because of their merits, but because of their opponents' lack of merit. It's really sad. I say, if you can't say something nice, keep your mouth closed! The tongue wages war. It's like the sky above. Sometimes black clouds, sometimes sunshine. You can't trust it. It's why no one likes the weatherman.

I practice being nice on a daily basis and I don't quite understand people who are not kind people!
People today after to full of themselves for the most part, to be concerned about anyone other than themselves. No compassion for folks these days at all can be found.

It there is a great resistance in actualizing what we believe to be a good, then the moredifficulty it meets the stronger influence of good it will eventually have.
