Thank you for adding your 5-7-5 to Gypsy Blue Rose's Renga book and linking it to the previous entry. I relished your artwork selection and addition of alliteration. Smiles- Joan

Hello,
Thank you very much for adding another chapter to our book. You did a great jobā?¦ good syllable count and connection between lines. Nice presentation. Thank you for following the instructions. It's hard to keep up with the chapter order. If one person posts in the wrong place, the whole book is out of sink. Could you please copy and paste the following to your post? Make sure your posting is in order. Somehow, Roy's chapter is now a prologue... sigh...
============BEGINNING OF COPY AND PASTE=============
Renga is Japanese collaborative poetry in which alternating stanzas, of 5-7-5 stanza and 7-7 couplets are linked in succession by multiple poets. The most famous renga master was Matsuo Basho.
Guest poets check the last stanza in the renga book to know what to write next. A 5/7/5 stanza is followed by 7/7 couplet following the same theme without repeating the same words.
*If you would like to add a chapter to this book, please follow this instructions:
FIRST: click here first, find the last chapter in the renga book and open it
SECOND: click the ADD A CHAPTER icon above your review box.
THIRD: If the last chapter is a 5/7/5 haiku, add a 7/7 couplet; if the last one is a 7/7 add a 5/7/5; follow the theme of the verse you are following, not the previous ones.
FOURTH: post your chapter as usual. You will keep a copy in your portfolio and you keep all your reviews.
FIFTH: PLEASE COPY AND PASTE THIS INSTRUCTIONS TO YOUR AUTHOR NOTES

I just noticed the entry after mine, which is 19, is numbered as 22. I think they need to change it to 20. It can be done, hopefully before someone posts a new one.
-
Hello my friend, two poets made a mistake that threw off the sequence. I'm not sure if we can change it.
-
I'm going to fix it today. Thank you

Good Morning, June!
What a lovely visual picture you have offered to readers in your well-crafted couplet. It has a definite "haiku feeling" to it! I have so enjoyed everyone's contributions! Yours is beautiful.
Thank you for sharing!
