You describe something that I still love doing ..

my green patch is full of these yellow flowers despite many consider them weeds ..

I find them bright and gay and when the have finished I have fun blowing the seed pods.

Nice artwork too with black background!

THANKS for your support and encouragement for this verse. Pleased I checked off all the 5-7-5 requirements with you. I have never sampled dandelions or tasted dandelion wine. LOL

The simple dandelion flower, though often maligned. is an inspirational little flower and its pollen habits can inspire as here in this 5-7-5 and a nice visual

I liked this poem! As a kid, I always thought of dandelion as wishes, or little faires yet to be born ;). Your poem depicts what a dandelion is in a good way, and I like it! You also did a great job picking a picture to match your poem. :)
