What a short heartfelt poem! It is easy to read and understand, and I felt the raw message all the way through. Wonderful! Best of luck in the contest!

Bill, such a beautiful, unique poem. I am just wondering which came first, the photo or the poem. If some man had said your words to me when I was much younger, I would have fallen in love with his originality alone,
Excellent work, Bill.
Best wishes.

Ooh. Creepy. Cleverly developed, your cinquain. I never expected the last two lines. This reads well. I don't see how any entry could beat this.

Thank you for the good thought, Shari

Oh, how sinister! You take us from an innocent description of a large, well-built floor space to a guilty secret of concealed murder. The loaded use of the culminating "my love" reveals the perpetrator. A well told story in poetic form.

Hello :)
This is a great concoction of abstract, macabre and intrigue!
It conforms to the requirements of the contest and I enjoyed it very much.
Good luck in the voting booth.
Best wishes, Debra

Wow -- now there's a completely dark scenario painted for your reader in but those limited 22 syllables - great job! ;) Thanx for sharing and best of luck! ;)
