I enjoyed reading your Nature Rondel poem. It rhymes well and it flows with meaning and I like that you asked a question in your poem and answered it as well, "Why do we go to Wisconsin in late fall?" I image it is beautiful. Just one comment. Did you mean Cardinal in your second stanza? (Cardinal bird, right?). Best wishes!

This is a great contest entry, Mystery Author. I love the image and the sentiments expressed so eloquently in your poem. There is good flow and great imagery.
As per the rules
'only the first line repeats at the end.'
Perhaps you could compose another line before the last one so your first line is the repeated line as the last line of the poem. Maybe something along the line of:
Autumn in Wisconsin is the best time of all
(I know it is your choice whatever you decide).
I would hate to see this DQed.

Well, Wisconsin doesn't anything like the Green Mountains, though is has some wonderful lakes and rivers. As for the fall colors, I can't say because I've not been to Vermont in the fall. Thanks for the read and review.
