Janet - you picked a very emotion intensive topic and summarized it very well within the five - seven - five poem limitations. Good luck in the contest. Regards, Jerry

A very witty entry in this contest, with a superb artistic presentation and picture. Some interesting thoughts. I especially liked the message in line 3.

Thank for sharing it with us, good luck in the booths!

This is well written and the scripture passage is one I remember when I feel I want to take vengeance on someone.
Another verse that goes along with this one is that God Himself will heap colas of fire upon their heads when they mess with His children.

Wow -- that pretty much says it all there, doesn't it? Not sure I'd go at it from a revenge standpoint rather than simply there is always a 'bill' that comes due in the end... :/ :/ Great presentation with this one, Janet -- thanx for sharing and best of luck!! ;) :) Yvette

Thank you so much, Yvette. I truly appreciate your review. This is how Just Punishment is described on Google: Just punishment is deserved punishment. In order to deserved to be punished, the offender must have committed an offence that is morally accepted as an offence. -- Since God is perfect, holy, an can never do anything wrong, I believe it when He says he will exact just punishment for such horrible wrongdoings like killing innocent children and others in drive-by shootings. If He wants to call it revenge, then it has to be an okay thing. I just wish drive-by shooters would take a look at President Lincoln's Second Inaugural Address--" With malice toward none with charity for all.." I once saw somebody immediately after being wounded in a drive-by shooting and, thankfully, the bullet didn't hit her little boy whose hand she was holding. At least it only grazed her leg. The woman was wearing a skirt and there was a lot of blood. I am sure it is something that little boy will never forget. So sad!

The author's words are strong, clear, descriptive and creative. I thought
about counting on God through difficult situations and he always comes
through. The poem flows and connects well. I like the title of this poem!
Have a great weekend!

I liked how you used this short space to highlight a social issue. Nice choice of using the word "trolling." Adds a different perspective. The presentation matches the theme the well. Good luck!

I have been close by with children to a drive-by shooting. Even when no one is killed, it is a horrible thing. I appreciate your review and good wishes very much!

Hello Spangle,
I like your 5-7-5 poem. I do we all will reap what we sow. Sow good seeds and you will receive good seeds. I concur with you that drive by shooters are cowards. They aren't man or woman enough to face their victims. Nicely done. Thanks

I agree such an incident is cold hearted, parallel to cops killing an unarmed man, balancing I figure Satan rules hell. All stated in my given viewpoint prevailing this particular read. All stated in my viewpoint.

Cowardice vs Courageous. It's all in the mind of how one see's themselves. Some see the same with their eye's open as they do with them closed. Very sad. Nice job and Good Luck with your 5-7-5 entry.

Cowards indeed. They hide in cars and alleyways, kill innocent people and then run away. The world will have no peace until the Lord takes His vengeance. Well done friend.

Your comments holds a lot of truth, Kay. This world has too much darkness going on right now...and it does not seem to be getting any better. Thankfully, we can look upward and delight in the Lord's goodness and loving care. xoxo
