It is amazing how much you say in these three lines of six words! Your title and evocative sculpture establish the mood perfectly as well. Best wishes in the 2-3-2 Poetry contest- Joan

I like the sentiment expressed in your poem, but as soon as i saw it i thought of a word that would rhyme and still fit the meaning. As a suggestion, how about:

Life's fate:
too little,
too late.

Hello Lisa and thank you so much for the wonderful suggestion and I'd definitely change it; however, now I have to wait as the time has expired to make any changes; still, I love it and I'll do it once the voting is done; I appreciate your time and the excellent review; thank you.

At first this poem seems to be a simple collection of words, but as I read and re-read it, I feel like its meaning evolves. There is such a profound truth in the idea that life always turns up skeletons in everyone's closet, and this even causes me to wonder if the negative connotation of the term "skeletons in the closet" is perhaps misapplied. Skeletons are just a part of the cycle of life and death! Well done!
