Excellent entry in the contest, with a great picture and artistic presentation. I liked the topic of the poem. It has a lighthearted feel to it I found enjoyable.

Good luck in the contest, and thanks for sharing!

Yes our laughter lines tell a tale of fruitful years and we should be proud of them. There are so many stone still faces about with botox! Expression is a much more pleasing scene in faces, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Lovely poem--alliteration: Touched Time, Laugh Lines, and Sing Songs--priceless photo makes perfect accompaniment. You may get a prize with this delightful verse. Cheers. LIZ

I enjoyed your excellent poem. I agree, her face does express happiness, and perhaps some surprise at whatever it was that made her smile.

This is an excellent commentary on what life can do to your face. I remember as a teenager looking at two ladies at church who were about the same age. One had a permanent frown/scowl on her face, the other had happy lines permanently etched in hers. I hoped I would look like the second lady when I grew old. I love the picture you put with your verse. It reminds me of that second lady.

This is really good and well thought out. She earned those laugh lines and she wears them well. I enjoyed reading this inspirational and well written work. Well done!
