Interesting poem and a very interesting format--one I hadn't heard of before and I love the visual it creates! "Walk,/walk slow,/a snail's pace/would be the trick!/simply slithering, dithering along." One suggestion, the title--should it be separated by a single period or perhaps three ellipses? The two periods does not seem correct. Thanks for sharing.

Hello JLR, an unusual twenty lines but well written within the requirements of the contest. The two parts - Run - run hard, and Walk - walk slow are two extremes. There is a happy medium LOL! This contest entry is unique. I like the way you have formatted your lines based on the requirements of the contest. Your image is a great pairing. Your lines read well with some internal rhyming. Your words create great imagery. I like the message of your poem, too.
