Congratulations, Sally, on your HM win in the contest. This is a fun read! I played "Clue" as a kid and remember these characters like favorite book characters. I guess the professor is not as smart as I'd expected!

I'm glad you enjoyed this and were able to understand what was going on in my flash. I gather that some haven't played this game.

Welcome back, dear Jan! I'm more excited to see you than this review. I thought you had left FanStory. I will fan you now. Oh, and thank you for the lovely review. :)

I'm glad you have a sense of humor, Sally, but could you clue me in? :) I haven't, Clue. So Plum was the murderer, sipping the rope on the beam. I can't really judge the murder mystery, but I'll tell you one thing it made me smile. :) This is a good entry for the 75 Word Flash Fiction contest. Thank you for sharing.

This is based on the board game, Clue. Professor Plum, Mrs. Peacock, and Colonel Mustard are some of the suspects of the game. I brought them to life in this little story. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
Sending you my best today as always,

A very funny piece of flash fiction accompanied by a superb suspenseful video.
A surprise ending, as the Plum reveals he indeed is the murderer.
Great dialogue and the interaction between your characters.
This should make for a very strong entry, good luck in the contest.

:0) This is very funny and I wish the best for you in the contest, my dear friend.
You can google funny mistakes criminals have made. This is one of them: There's nothing wrong with watching a lot of movies, but you shouldn't always believe everything you see in them. One thief had seen many heist movies where bank cards were used to easily open doors.
He tried the trick for himself on a neighbor's apartment, but his card simply broke, with half of it falling inside the door! The neighbor spotted it and then called the cops, reading out the name written right there on the card. lol

I really enjoyed this and I liked the humour in it as well. Your writing made it very easy to get into and I thought it flowed really well. Good luck in the contest!

Funny story! I can't recall playing "Clue," even though I think I may have had friends who played it. The perpetrator could win a "Dumbest Criminal" award! Great spooky sounds on the video, excellent idea!

It's clever how you took the elements of a game and created a short story from it. You have all of the necessary element, setting, characters, props and plot. But you had a fun twist to it. This is not a surprise with your writing talent.
