Such a beautiful, colorful invitation to the land of playful dreams and magical diversity (at least as I think of the meaning of rainbow, and the stars). I love how you introduced a tactile piece into this very 'visual' poem with 'finger painting' (which I actually love so much :) ). The other fascinating detail is using both 'sunbeam' and 'stardust' - so essentially going for both the matter and wave nature of stars (even though stardust could mean glitter as well, which highlights again the world of a Child, just like finger painting). Rich, layered poem!

Yes, let's ride that rainbow--escaping the pandemic, the news reports about murders, robberies, kidnappings, . . . This is a truly lovely poem--vividly descriptive, making excellent use of every syllable!
