You deserved to win the contest. It is difficult to write about spiders in my specific case because I dont really like them. The rhymes are spot on and the poet's wit and humor is evident in the poem . An excellent write indeed. Thanks for sharing. God bless.

Funny stuff, the last sentence was a great punch line. LOL! Some of the restaurants I've eaten at, I'd almost wished I'd had a pet spider, that way two could dine for the price of one.

You did some clever and funny lines. It sounds like something I would have my student recite and do finger lays to when I was a pre school teacher. It seems the rhythm is a bit jerky, but then if read aloud it could be made to flow, I'm sure.
