A life's journey cannot be without wondering, imagining, travelling and questioning. These four columns are all encapsulated in the word experience, and experience in life means getting old and wise. Wisdom gives you the opportunity to live longer. This writing prompt includes all the above-mentioned life's experiences to become in its simple beautiful storyline and is perfectly written throughout its syllables counting and structural format 2-10-2 syllables required by the contest.

Thank you so much for stopping in for this awesome review and those wonderful stars, Tony - you always know how to make me smile! ;) :) I apologize for the delay as we are readying our house to sell (trying to 'downsize' but oh my gosh, what a task!!). May you have a wonderful remainder of the week over there, my friend! ;) Yvette

I thought this was really good. When we're children we begin to wonder about the world around us, and as we think more and learn more about it, our knowledge begins to grow. Good luck in the contest!

What sage advice. Once we lose our sense of wonder we lose the zest for life. I say question everything and keep wondering. I know some people find three-year-olds obnoxious but I love the two questions they ask most often:
Why?
What if...?
May we always ask those questions.

I believe you have a winner here, it says so much in so few words and the picture is perfect. Learning begins with curiosity and develops into wisdom. Your poem is profound and speaks volumes. Great entry.

This 2-10-2, Open Your Eyes and Question, has the right set up and takes us back to our earliest quests to understand our environment.

This is excellent from start to finish. It is very clever to pick amongst the nouns that would be appropriate for a very young person, and comare them to nouns take from maturity.

A very well-written 2-10-2 poem the innocence and curiosity of young children is something wonderful to watch and the questions never end while their wisdom in life grows.
