This is a cute poem entry for the Along came a Spider... writing prompt. It is an entertaining poem and should do well in the contest. Good luck!

Hello, anonymous,

Cool entry for the Along came a Spider... writing promo contest. Nice presentation and picture. The rhyme scheme is well done. underneath the seat...spiders meet... lol what a horrible thought, now I will have to check.

Along came the spiders is very good
I like how you describe the most frighting spiders especially the Tralantula. No thank you I don't need any spiders underneath my toilet seat.

This poem is an excellent contest entry. It fits the subject matter nicely and the rhyme scheme is clever. The picture you chose works well with the poem.

I really like this poem about spiders that will appeal to all ages. Children think spiders LURK everywhere, why not under the toilet seat? And young adult readers will like the SCIENCE element showing how they weave a web and trap their prey. And your use of rhyme really lightens the tone. Rod

Thanks for sharing your well written poem on spiders. UGH! I don't think a soul on this earth likes them. Yes, they do entice so many in their carefully spun web. So glad it's not me.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards.

I have to give you five stars for a poem well written--it is just that I hate the subject. They are just so creepy and they bite! Your picture, of course, pairs perfectly with your words. Nicely done.

Thanks for your review. The best thing about spiders is they're easy to squash!!!

WOW. That's one really big spider. Imagine if the kids singing itsy-bitsy spider saw that on the cover of the song. The poem flowed well and was an easy read. But now I'll be looking under my toilet seat when I got to the restroom.

Thanks for your review. Look up the song "Redback on the toilet seat" if you want a laugh

Wonderful, Mystery Writer!
As an avid gardener, I know I should be a huge fan of spiders, but admittedly, they scare the heck out of me...even Charlotte!
Your verse is fun and creative!

Best Wishes!
