Spiritual - I get that. So-called coincidences often do feel like they were meant to be or somehow a "guiding hand" has been at "play". I'll try and look her up...

Thanks Margaret. I hope you find OliveO's piece--though I don't really get the coincidence since she knew both their birthdays were October 14th (I think she must have forgotten about her friend's birthday until she saw the tombstone.) Cheers. LIZ

This is interesting and it seem that it worked out well as she liked your story. I have used most real names in thing I post as well as real places and I've wondered if that is wise. I keep thinking surely the people involved won't happen to be on this site but what if they are. It's scary. I don't want to hurt of offend anyone. I'll try to find Nancy's post.

Thanks Beth--funny, I normally change the names slightly (e.g Marilyn=>Marlene in the story I mentioned--in the play I kept most of the real names; regardless; given that the details of Jim's parties were true she'd have figured it out--plus I confess it all in the footnote! Cheers. LIZ

This is an interesting story about reconnecting with an old friend. I have to admit I have not reconnected with any old friends on Fanstory, but Facebook is another matter. I have received many surprises through that site. Although this story sounds somewhat bittersweet, I enjoyed reading it.

That's a cool thing to happen. You describe it well and I guess it was meant to be so that's great. Fanstory is definitely a great place to get feedback or share whatever you want. Thanks for sharing this and have a great day
