Hello my friend
Nice entry for the
Dying Houseplant writing prompt contest. Great presentation and picture. You followed the rules well.
I had a money tree for a long time, untill I moved. I don't talk to plants. Sounds like a good idea. Well done.

This is a lovely tribute to God as well as the house plant. It is well written and you followed the contest rules. Your illustration, of course, pairs perfectly with your words. This is nicely done.

I thought this was an interesting story within the context of the contest. You did a good job bringing that money tree to life, and telling us that what is so important in all our relationships is feelings. Love. everyone wants and needs to be loved, and without that love, we wilt away. estory

I enjoyed your contest entry, Mystery Author. I like the way the plant started talking and what it had to say. Its message taught the woman a good lesson, too. You did a good job with your entry. Thanks for haring and best wishes.
Respectfully, Jan
I started to shade ( shed ) my leaves . . .

This was definitely a unique entry into the contest. You have described the experience well and wrote about the dying houseplant. Wouldn't be bad if it did give some money!

A great little piece with a message that we can all take to heart, during these trying times. This makes for a wonderful entry for the contest. I also thought it was an inventive way to approach this challenge. Good luck.
