When I want to know what's the buzz, I'll call on you. A fun poem with a nice bouncy rhythm. Suggestion: I remind him, "Hold your tongue." This hold s to the rhythm, and it shows instead of tells what happens. Good luck in the contest.

Very well written, suits the prompt. However, I feel that the line "there's lots of ranting, words that rhymes" sounds a bit unusual, may I humbly suggest " there's lots of ranting, words and rhymes " instead?. Overall a very good one
