I love the perspective in this poem--a real twist. I hadn't considered that the sun shines all day everyday until it burns out...and that the sunlight-- always aimed like a laser--might need a rest, a place to get away from itself. Well done.

I think you are a genius in your writing style and your choice of pictures. I know it takes a lot of stamina to keep up with your craft...or at least that's how I feel when I read your work...thank you for being one of the reasons I keep writing. I loved those words.

I like this imagery. I've thought of many tree images over time in many writings especially With my books Be Wee With Bea. My imaginings and noticings has never captured this image and unique concept. Excellent. It warrants A+
