Isn't love grand? I like the positive take you give to it. Even when love is painful it has merit and is worth risk. I guess that's why we have sayings such as "better to have love and lost than never to have loved at all."

I don't know how I missed this. Congratulations this is an exceptional presentation. The words are few but the meaning is huge. A beautiful and exquisite piece of art to compliment your words. Lovely! :)Ralf

Thank you, Ralf, for the wonderful review -- this was one of those little contests that floats through now and again... haven't done much 'big writing', but I'm trying to get back there! ;) :) Thanx for those stars as they certainly are good for me to get that 'pulling myself up and pushing forward' going over here!! ;) Take care, my lady, and have a wonderful week! ;) Yvette

Congratulations on your first place win. I enjoyed reading your short poem, YM. Your few words, as required, speak volumes about being in love or a relationship. To be an active participant beats sitting at home depressed--even if love hurts at time. Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Thanx so much for the review here, Jan -- I apologize for running behind, but it just seems that I'm pulled in many different directions these days! :) :) Take good care of you out there and pop in again soon!! ;) Yvette

In addition to choosing love, you are also choosing life. Hopefully, the reader will be encouraged and inspired to take the risk to love. Kelly Clarkson has a new one out that is called I Dare You to Love.

Very thoughtful piece that captures the essence of being in love and alive. We feel, therefore, we risk some pain. But think of the joy we could miss if we refuse to take the risk. Well said.

You have made excellent use of your fifteen well-chosen words to convey a message about the power of love. Yes, love--in all its many forms--can be painful, but we need love.

I ;ove your artwork and your wording is so wisely arranged and gives the reader something to think about. The thought that comes to my mind is no pain no gain and all is fair in love and war. Your colors chosen for your artwork is so exuberating!

A very well-written short poem about love and life that sometimes cause us pain burnt us all okay then we know we are still alive to feel and not dead without any emotions.
