Congratulations, YM, on your first place win. I knew you would win! Your poem is beautiful. The picture is striking and so perfect for your excellent word choices. I love the rhyme. Your few syllables, as required, are descriptive, filled with imagery, and smooth flowing to be this style of writing. Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

There is a light feeling to your words. "Beckon earth to light" is a fitting last line that sums up the first three lines. You also paint a picture of a sun
rise and the feelings that arise when observing one.

Hi dear Yvette,
This enchanting presentation comes off like a casting call from
a Director in the far off distance, "Lights, Camera, Action!'
and indeed you provide it all ever so commandingly and evocatively
in each phrase evolving into and completing the perfectly desired
scene! Set Up: from the distant hill, time frame from morn to night,
sun's warm rays breathes in Earth's daily light, awesome write dear!
You express so much so stoundingly in set up takes and images.
Enjoyed this indeed, your fascinating creativity is never off duty!
Thanks for sharing this one dear....(:) (;)
Love blessings, Ronni

You provide a picture image in the reader's mind. Both with the picture you picked and with the words you used. It feels like friends greeting each other as night and day switch sides.

The author's words are uplifting, descriptive, and creative. I pondered
on the theme of this poem. For me, the morning light brings hope.
I like the color scheme you chose and the artwork. They compliment
this poem well. Hope you are having a great day!

A perfect written naani poem throughout its structural counting syllables and four line unique stanza. Beautifully described within its thematic rudder transfer of breaking dawn of a new day. Great work! Best wishes for the contest.

This is such a bright sunlight it hurts your eyes, perhaps even to the extent of causing damage. But even just on a piece of paper you can feel the heat soaking through. What a joyful awakening.

Correct syllable count, some rhyming and a bit of alliteration make this a contender for a top position in the Naani contest. Also loved the artwork you chose to further illustrate your word picture.
