Some of us, however, left our hometowns for jobs, never to return - except for visits, and we married a little later. Fond memories, though. I'm glad you smiled and I appreciate your comments.

Mary, back when I was growing up, it was an innocent time. Truly. A gentler time - at least in our little town. Everything moved at a slower pace - including what came after kissing. :) Our parents would have killed us. But kissing? That was special.

Ah! Those were the days, and I am sure they still are in one form or another, though I'm at a loss to see how a virtual kiss can replace the real thing! Plenty of nostalgia in this one. I laughed at your last line, delivered through braces, no doubt!

Fortunately, I was the only member of my family who didn't need braces, but your remark would've added the perfect touch.And virtual kisses? or through a mask? asking too much.
