Compelling first-hand look at the hoops one has to hop through when undergoing "non-urgent" treatment in the reign of Corona. My friend's cancer diagnosis was delayed for three months because she couldn't get an appointment. Nice work. Good luck. LIZ

Yes I was fortunately allowed to continue with the Radiation treatment and the Plastic Surgeon recently looked at my head and said it "Looked beautiful" for which I am pleased. Thanks for coming by.

Did not receive notice of you having posted this. What else is new with FS? Glad your treatments went well and you were able to get out with friends. Maybe this coronavirus nonsense will be over soon. My guess is November the third here in the US, the day after our Presidential election.

Thanks Barb. Some seemed to have only seen the depressing side to this but we did get out which is good.

Hi Geoff, this is a great piece and I'm glad your treatment went along without a glitch. It's strange time we live through indeed, but I'm glad that you're doing okay. Ulla:)))

Glad you enjoyed it. Seems some of us see things differently and class my post as depressing. Oh well. Thanks mate.

Geoff,

Aren't you the creative one! What a smart idea - and not just to be used in this way, but in so many different ways in the house. Thanks for sharing these cool ideas - AND how you are doing lately.

Only one note here:
-->There is a Gluten-Free porridge I love and I rotate between it and other cer(e)als each day.

Thanks - good to see you!

Hi Geoff. You have written a good article on your life as it pertains to health issues.

I am sincerely sorry for all of your health issues, especially the cancer, my friend. But just as a word of advice, It is depressing. So, I think once you have given updates to all of us who are genuinely interested...you should move on.

Talk about the enjoyable things in your life. We all would love to hear bout those also. There is too much gloom and doom in the world today...Don't you agree?

For instance I have been restricted to a chair since last October due to blisters on my feet that are slow healing. A no pressure cast on one of them. I have to be waited on hand and foot, but you will notice that I never discuss it on this site, because it is depressing.

Just food for thought, my friend. Bob

Hi Bob thanks for coming by. I guess not being a fiction write I tend to tell things as they are. You guys are all taking my writings in different ways but I appreciate you coming along and supporting me as I do you. I am sorry to hear of your own difficulties. Gives me something to pray for.

Sorry to be late, my friend. This was filled with so much and I feel relieved to hear of your progress in spite of the lockdown. I wish I was there to help in some way but, see angels have already stepped forward to assist. The church body is needed now more than ever. It has become more stringent here in the United States state by state. Florida has been pulling back the covers on inaccurate reporting of Coronavirus positive results and deaths. The governor has stepped in. We continue on in masks. If masks and social distancing should be helping then why don't we see results? I'm a logical person. Looks like the first horseman of the apocalypse. So many things are unfolding revealing the accuracy of John revelation.

It's hard to believe your nurse had a fever! Take care of yourself and Louise. I enjoyed all the photos. Looks very chilly!!
Sending you my best today as always
Sal XOs.....

Thanks Sally Nurse didn't have the fever...the stupid patient thought SHE (herself) did but fortunately she was tested and no infection. What a wide spread of reviews this time around!

A very well-written story about life in isolation that's not something we are used to. It takes a lot of compromised and adaptions to the rules to prevent the spread of the virus.

Thanks Sis you are so right. As another reviewer said the sooner people start obeying the isolation rules and separation the sooner we can get this COVID-19 thing gone!

Some people seem incredibly casual about the coronavirus. Until everyone starts obeying the guidelines they will never be able to contain it. I hope you stay safe. We are lucky here in the West. Let's hope it continues.

Thanks Judy you are right of course. Everyone think "Oh it won't happen to me" what about these three women who went from Victoria to Queensland telling lies and skipping the checks! Goodness knows how much the spread the virus!

And for a start, one of them wasn't cooperating! Can you believe it? :(
