These stanzas portray the pain and suffering and lasting negative impact of betrayal upon the person on the receiving end of such an act - powerful emotions

1. An interesting first-hand testimonial of the pain caused by the cruel use of social media
2. Inconsistent pronoun number, e.g., "someone, their, someone"
3. I hope the speaker gets past this injustice soon

Thank you for reading. I don't really pay attention to the elements of poetry that you mentioned. I just write from the heart. Thanks again. :)

I really like how you tell this story of betrayal in ballad (4/3/4/3) format. The Speaker comes across as someone who was perhaps a bit too naive. We never do find out HOW that so-called friend betrayed her on Facebook. Stanza 7 can actually stand alone. This story is all too often seen in today's TV dramas. Well-told. Rod

Did this happen in real life? Either way, it's a very gripping poem because it tells a story many of us have lived, the betrayal by a friend. Good job with the writing prompt.

I just love this poem. I know this feeling all too well as I have a friend who I treated like a sister and she turned on me. It hurts and is a shame that people chose to injury others hearts and souls in such a way.

This had a flow that carried you through beginning to end.

I feel your pain and totally understand how you feel. Take it easy, things will fall into place and karma will have a go at her. Betrayal sucks! My very best wishes in the contest!
