This is such a sweet story. I have people telling me that animals don't change expressions, but they're the ones who don't pay attention to the animals around them. I can picture Cleo's face when she got her babies back. Thank you for participating in the club.

Hmm, this a quick and lighthearted recounting or slice of life. I think animal lovers or pet owners will understand the emotional content very well. Even for us non pet people it came through. Good work.

What a beautiful story. Very satisfying emotionally for author and family and the reader. A great lesson for the boys too, I imagine. Man and beast having beautiful relationship. Mother helped and brought back to health. Text written well and pulls reader right into the story with all senses.
