This is a very nice spiritual story you have penned. You gave a very good example with very good and very true words. He is patiently waiting now, but one day it could be too late. Thanks for sharing my friend. May God bless you. Teri

I love this story because it inspires and encourages faith in all of us. I thought it was long enough to add depth, but short enough to keep one's interest. Excellent work which has a strong message of hope. God bless. Looking forward to reading some of your other work.

Great story to open up this spiritual message. I laughed at the question about turning the wheel. The answer itself--doesn't matter--can be interpreted on two levels.
Brother, sister...you may be stuck in the mud, helplessly spinning your wheels as you sink deeper and deeper.
I've felt like that sometimes and do pray for help.

It reminds me again that there are angels among us. Enjoyed the story and how providence is with us, sometimes above and sometimes below the surface of our lives. Good scripture too.

Very similar to amazing grace in meter. As a songwriter I noticed Amazing Grace was written in similar beat to a lot of songs I wrote, a classic ballad, the original writers of hymns were all poets. When I first became a member of fanstory, I started to understand the perfection of the timing, I knew then that I was born to write, and God was my endless, bottomless supplier, what does this have to do with your story...not much, but God knew my every step from my birth to now and beyond, and evermore, how great is God? Beautifully written brother, blessings, Roy

Bless you Denis, I watched a brilliant preaching by a man of God called Derek Prince, I like the way God appoints some people in one?s life, I?ve never met Him, but he?s been fantastically influential in my spiritual life.

This is a wonderful post. I hope you don't mind, but I copied it and sent it to an alcoholic who is thinking of rehab. Your post will give him the nudge and encouragement he needs.

This is beautiful brother! He has never failed me yet. I've called upon my savior and Lord in the midnight watches with none to help. He was there! If I were to try to call someone, then, I might get a busy signal. Awe, but praise, honor, and glory to the Lamb of God that I can call on Him night or day. I never get a busy signal from Him. He is here, even as close as my next breath. Thanks for sharing this inspirational and well written work. Bless you and well done!

I've been there too brother! And there is nothing sweeter than experiencing the fearsome, faithful love of the Savior in those times!
Let us praise Him together and trust until we see Him face to face; what a day that will be!
Love you, brother from another mother, child of God! Dennis

It will be glorious my brother! We are in I believe in the beginning of sorrows. The church needs to wake up. We need to reach this lost world for Jesus!

Yes, there's little difference between a sleeping bod and a dead one when it comes to serving.

Wonderful! I like the way you have shown your connection and faith in God. Even while we face such death situations we tend to forget thanking Him for saving us or simply ignore. I loved your poem too. Great work and good day

Thank you kindly, all praise to Jesus! The poem is actually an old hymn and I will put the author's name on it as I should have in the first place. God bless you friend, Dennis

What a wonderful teaching. I liked the comparison that you used. We all get stuck in that mud every once in a while over something. I'm glad to say I know where to go when I need it. Have a blessed afternoon. Shirley
