I think you are getting frustrated. Keep up your great spirit. You make me smile when I read your stories. I have a few numbers to go, so keep smiling and keep typing those grammar words.

I know that the computerized montitering of workers has really caused a lot of resentment as your story has documented. Many can identify with your words.

There are several potential errors that could use correcting. I hope you don't mind these suggestions: Firstly, it is the Corona virus, not "Coronella" -I'm not sure if you changed the name of the illness on purpose but as used it is not correct. Also, in the first verse there are two words that run together: "usand" which should be "us and." Next it should be Reader's Digest. And, finally, you need a period after the sentence: "You don't need to tell me that."

Another great episode in your coronavirus tales. You have this great wit and sarcasm that lends so much to the personality of the writing that we really feel your emotions in dealing with the people checking in on you all the time and micromanaging your work. That's the way these bosses are. It takes a certain kind of person to be a boss. But I love how you tell this from the worker's perspective and we really feel your frustrations. estory

I never realized that working from home could be so frustrating! I could not work with someone always checking on me or my work ethics. Well done!

That is why I returned to work. I'm alone in the office and is the best time ever.

You are right about making all employees pay for what a few do wrong. I hate 'blanketing all' for that. You did a good job with your 'ran.t' I coud follow it easily and understood where you are coming from. Perhaps your boss needs better guidelines for all employees--should have done this earlier, but now is a good time, too. Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

OMG, Iza! So funny!

put ankle monitors (on us)
itler! lol! Come on ... tell us how you really feel about her! lol
and they maybe do 1% from what they are proclaiming.>> and they may be doing 1% of what they are proclaiming.
ten items that needs your >> ten items that need your >> Take the 's' off needs
People in charge needs one month >> people in charge need one month >> Again, take the 's' off 'need'. Because 'People' is plural, 'need' doesn't need an s. If it was 'She needs one month' is would need the s. Weird, right? Because you'd think the plural form needs the s to make it plural, too. Just not right in English because we're a jumble of many other languages. I think we're confusing! lol
Love that you're going to call IT to get her a memory upgrade! HA!!
And no solution on Amazon or from China ... Whatever will we do? lol

This was great, but I'm glad your boss does not come to FS! :)

Good reading! Thank you.
Blessings,
Deb

Poor old Iza. Yes indeed, I was self employed most of my working life, probably because, I got paid for what I did, and not for what I didn't do. Beautifully written dear friend, you are a whizz at the English language, my wife taught languages, still does. Well done Iza, blessings, Roy

Holy crap, Iza - you DO work for Ms. Hitler!! What a beeeyatch! One my favorite so far, my lady, although I hate that you have to deal with that!! And I so would send her a message every freaking time I went to the bathroom or ANYTHING else for that matter and when you got back -- completely overwhelm her with inane texts just like that! Oh, and don't think the 'camera at home thing' isn't already on the table, Iza, because it is. Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

How UTTERLY frustrating to have to work like that! What do they want? See you on skype peeing in the washroom? Just to know for sure that you are where you say you are? Is this the new version of Big Brother Is Watching You?
I understand your outburst. This situation is to turn patient people crazy.
Hang on, Iza! Relax. It will be over some beautiful day.

This is listed as fiction, but it has the ring of reality to me. We all know little Hitlers, and their suspicions. Telecommuting is often a hard sell with middle managers--even before the stay-at-home orders.
Nice job of conjuring up frustrations that feel real.

Peace, Lee
