This sonnet shows what love can do. It changes your character at times and give you a home you feel both free and safe. Now you have someone to roam with if you so choose.

I love the rhythm and rhyme. It rhymes very well and the rhythm is perfect. We never know which path our lives will take until we have another one to pick from. Glad you took the right path for you. The picture you have with your poem is really great! When I see a picture, I know how I like it by whether I would like to be in that picture. I really would love to walk down this path and see what's on the other side of the hill. Good luck with the contest~

I like the conversational style of the language in this sonnet, it makes the rhyme and metric effects that much more subtle. I think its a great play on the traditional romantic sonnet; you have this idea of taking a different path to find true love. Trust in your feelings. estory

A beautiful tribute to your love, Beth. I believe I would have broken
it up into three stanzas, with the two lines separated at the bottom.
That would have made it easier for these two old eyes to read. Never the less, it is beautiful either way. Very good work. I am out

Thank ;you so much for the review. I really wanted to break into stanzas, but I went by the example they gave which was what I used. Once I didn't use their example on something and they threw my poem out.
