This is a fun poem to read, even if I'm not familiar with all the references. It's quite magical in fact and I think the image included fits perfectly. Hope harry made it there. :)

This was such a charming poem! It flowed excellently with the use of the letters, and it was a true joy to read. The photo was gorgeous too. Makes me want to read the Harry Potter books again.

I think this works really well and the theme you've picked is really clever. The alphabet - which I'm sure was tricky to fit it - seems to appear effortless and well constructed - even q and x.

Great question! I have only been on Fanstory for a couple of years, but my understanding is that this kind of poem is called an abecedarian poem. That is, it uses all 26 letters of the alphabet. Although the sponsor of this contest named the contest "ABC Poem", the contest description/requirement is for an abecedarian poem. An ABC poem, according to the Fanstory definition of past contests, is a 5 line poem for which the beginnings of the first four lines are in alphabetical order and the 5th line may or may not be in the order. I hope I explained that clearly.

Magical fun it is - I loved reading this fantastic piece that included all the letters of the alphabet in a whimsical fashion! I felt like I was invited to a midnight ball at the wizard's castle. The painting reminded me of Van Gogh's Starry Starry Night. Well done!
