The sad thing is, there are many small towns whose fate is this poem. I love old towns, loved driving through them as a kid with my parents (they hated the interstates). You met the requirements of the 5-7-5

I love the picture you have chosen to go along with this piece. I think everyone from a small town would understand this piece. There are times things are so empty and slow you truly wonder if you are not alone in the town you live in.
