This does pull at the heartstrings - and obviously it is also true. Adorable. This 5-7-5 meets the requirements for a 5-7-5. I can find no fault with this poem.

Hah, Debbie!
Priceless!
I remember our son, Morgan, taking power naps in our foyer! He could sleep anywhere! He still can!
Thank you for the smile!

On to a beautiful week!

Now that the contest is over, I can tell you that the little boy is my oldest grandson. He was literally in line with the bridal party when he decided to lay on his ring pillow. Five minute nap and he was good to go. It's my favorite memory of my baby girl's wedding.
Thank you for your sweet review.

This is so very cute. I love that he's under his mom's dress taking his nap. That's a safe place to be when your a little kid. He looks adorable. The poem is very sweet and funny too. I enjoyed it so much. -January L.

This was great. I really like the images that came into my mind of a little kid, the ring bearer, getting sleepy, lol. You did a nice job with your 5-7-5.

Hahahahaha omg I LOVE THIS. So funny!!! This is really creative. These short ones are harder to write than the long ones. You have to make a huge statement with 3 lines!!!! Great job!!

Carrying the ring would be a very big responsibility for such a young person. I enjoyed reading this and I thought it had a nice flow and I liked the humour as well. Good luck in the contest!

What an endearing little poem! And the photo is priceless too. 5 minutes' sleep and the ring was safely brought to its destination! Lovely little story-poem and all that done in a 5-7-5. Very well done!
