Oh, I heard that you can eat "miner's lettuce" and that it's nutritious. But I don't know if I have that one. I have much more of the geranium roberticus that you wrote about in your other poem. Are you doing a weed series?

Thanks for the review. I'm trying to "wander" every day, and learn about the native plants (or non-native plants) in my yard. Finding out which ones are edible. My wish is to find an edible mushroom this summer.

Miner's Lettuce
by Aiona

Hello, Aiona,

I would be afraid to eat something that grew wild in my backyard... LoL good syllable count and presentation. Great entry for the 2-4-2 Poetry contest.

LOL!! :) Love this tongue-in-cheek humor in just eight syllables - such a wonderful Spring offering for the contest!! ;) Thanx for sharing and best of luck! ;)

Very nicely done. Got the weed and the toss and the salad and the toss. Really cute. Great picture to illustrate your text. You are brave to eat the plants in your yard. You are getting educated and can teach others about it. Thank you for being green and re-purposing your plants.
Nothing to improve here. Color great.
Thank you for the opportunity to review your good work.
Well done!

Thanks, Lucy. I'm hoping to find an edible mushroom before the summer is out!
