Congratulations on winning this contest! I love children's rhymes...
Here this sits just patiently waiting for one more review to be an ATB!

There! Mission accomplished!

I thought agout trying to illustrate the a couplet or two on each page as a children's book but I'm not sure I have that kind of patience.
I appreciate another one gettting the 26 reviews.

Congratulations on your win! I understand why you won. This poem is fun and kids will love it--even big kids. Your lines flow smoothly with good rhymes, imagery, dialogue, examples of the chaos the goat caused, and a fitting resolution. Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Aww, I really loved this poem! It is the perfect child's poem. The storyline was excellent and really captured my interest whilst reading. The rhyming was lovely too!

Loved it and I can see it won the contest. Congratulations and well deserved. I loved the rhythm of this piece. I can see it hold the attention of children. It was light and it provided a smile on this old codger's face. Thank you

Thank you Bob, I so glad you liked it. I've been wondering if I could make it into a children's picture book with one verse on each page. I'm supposed to be an artist, but I've never tried illustrating a book.

I'm pleased for you that this delightfully told little story about the naughty goat won the contest. Congratulations! There is a moral here too - idleness makes mischief. Give the goat a job to do and he has self esteem and a purpose. Life is no longer boring for him.

I'm out of sixes, but this certainly deserves them. Very understandable and well rhymed. Also very funny. My dad owned a goat once, it ate every
thing around. He was unable to keep it from jumping the fence and getting out.

This was a great laugh and good poem. Suggestion... for flow's sake...

Free time got you in[to] much trouble,
and you turned this farm (in)to rubble."

Loved the picture and the great layout. No spags.

A very well-written rhyming poem for children that teach them to not do things that is naughty and not right to do to others just because they become bored and have nothing else to do to keep themselves busy.

Wow! I am going to give you my last six stars. I love your silly poem about Farmer Brown's goat. This is so cool! How many times does a Billy Goat eat grass way to the ground? This time he ate several shirts.

Well Fred certainly found ways to entertain himself. Nice rhyme, nice flow. Very cute poem. This could almost be a children's book. Maybe something to consider.

Thank you for the review and comments. Several people suggested a book with a stanza and picture of each page. I'm thinking about it.
