Hopefully those days will return sooner than we might think. I think it does show how much we do take for granted, something which we only realise when it is taken away from us. One of the simple things I'm really looking forward to when things do get back to normal is sitting in a coffee shop and having a cappuccino. Good luck in the contest!

I had not been to a buffet in ages even before most restaurants closed down. Your light-hearted poem made me drool at all I missed. You do a good job of clarifying the difference between eating "out" now and then.
