Oh, love the umbrella on a rainy day . Capturing a peice of green leaf to escape the sinister from sun of desert ï¼?a drop of the water moisten the aningeresting of chapped land , a chunk of land which float above the sea to stand, slim but precious.

Each of us inside of ourselves has our own memory lane that we can walk down whenever we feel the need to. It can take us back to many wonderful memories or even some sad ones if we allow those to surface. Your poem was very nicely done and as always thank you for sharing with us all. Great job.

Thank you so much Larry! Sorry to be delayed in responding. I?ve been a little preoccupied with Twitter and the declassification against the FBI and others! I am a knowledge seeker and trying to absorb it all while it?s freshly out there. xoxoxo

No problem, I do not get involved in Twitter at all, bad enough on Facebook with everything going on there.

Hey Diana are you still up here I took a really long break from fanstory , really for no reason at all. Just preoccupied with various things. To be honest I am surprised my password even worked. Let me know what has been going on with you and how things have been going on.

Exceptional. A retelling of your life from the present looking back to childhood. I believe our memories shape us into the person we become. It's good to feed upon the richest ones. I really enjoyed this video from CATS. This talented lady had such a stellar performance.
Sending you my best today as always and six stars for your crown.

So very glad I had a six for this. Phenomenal free verse. Loaded with emotion and wonderful words of wisdom and creativity. This may be one of the favorites I have read from you. Jumped out at me this morning and touched my heart!

The sweet nostalgia that permeates your poem, lends it a poignancy to be cherished. Hold on to your memories of love as they massage your heart forever. I loved reading your poem of how you have evolved.

I really enjoyed reading this Diana, it's nice to sometimes sit and think and go back through our lives. I liked how you examined how your own life has evolved over the years, especially from your teenage years and back to your early childhood when even the very simplest of things could provide joy.

I really enjoyed this profoundly meaningful, vividly descriptive, and poignant piece. The lane called Memory is one we travel for different reasons. Sometimes we want to; sometimes we must

I do love that song... It was the one chosen by my mother to be played at her funeral and so it has always been weighted with emotion for me. Love your free verse as well...for to stay static in the memories of one part of our lives is similar to reading a single chapter in a wonderful novel. We have pathos, joy, elation, regret, pride, shame, love, loss, grief, and all variations of the above...each has come together to create the most unique US we can be. Beautiful!--Karenina

Oh Diane, you make my heart skip a beat with this stanza that was for me a personal, ah, yes... Very real!
And last stop
my childhood
where the deepest of love
could be found
on grandpa's lap
yet one still sprinkled
with the bitter way
of a fatherless child

And that, my friend, is why we write! If we cannot move others with our words, then it is pointless to write. I?m so happy that you can relate! Appreciate you came on this journey with me! xoxoxo
