Nope, no arguing with this dad. Those kidnappers had no idea what they were getting into. He obviously has some commando training of some sort. I bet the daughter is very grateful for the GPS at this point.

An interesting read. Reminds me a little of Taken. The omniscient POV always makes stories a little difficult for me to get into. But, I do like the lesson on GPS tracking & safety!

Thank you for the great review Country. Yes, I'm sure a dad would go to these extremes if his little girl was taken and he knew where to find her. I really appreciate the generous stars. I'm glad you liked the piece. Have a wonderful day.

I liked the last line about arguing with her dad about putting the GPS tracking device on her phone. I thought you did well to write this within five hundred words and you captured the action and the urgency, from the moment when the kidnappers made the ransom demand, to when her father burst through. I thought your writing flowed well. Good luck in the contest!

Nice story, I enjoyed it. It reminds me of the film Taken, just in fast forward. I enjoyed your descriptions, they are very evocative. Thanks for sharing this and have a great day
